William
R. Sterba, M.D. graduated from the University of Notre
Dame with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned
his medical degree from Tulane University School of
Medicine in
New
Orleans.
Dr. Sterba completed his internship and
orthopaedic surgery residency at the Henry Ford
Health System in
Detroit
followed by a sports medicine fellowship at the
University of Texas-Houston where he served as team physician for Rice University and assistant physician to the Houston Rockets.
Dr. Sterba is an orthopaedic surgical specialist with expertise in shoulder, hip, and knee injuries and conditions. He specializes in arthroscopy/advanced arthroscopy, joint replacement, reconstruction, and fracture management.
Board certified by the
American
Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, with a Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Dr. Sterba is a member of the
American
Academy
of
Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association
of North
America.
