Mary T. Norek, M.D. graduated from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. She received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1985. Dr. Norek then completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Norek is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Norek has extensive training in the nonsurgical evaluation and management of patients with pain and disease of the musculoskeletal system, as well as special expertise in conservative spine care. She is also trained to conduct electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) testing and administer trigger point injections. She joined OAD Orthopaedics in 1994.

Dr. Norek maintains medical staff privileges at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
