Thomas W. Kiesler, M.D. graduated from Purdue University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. He continued his education at Purdue University where he achieved his Master of Science degree in physiology in 1988. Dr. Kiesler went on to earn his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1992. He completed a five-year residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center in 1997, followed by a fellowship in hand/microvascular and upper extremity surgery at the Indiana Hand Center, Indianapolis, in 1998 until Spring 2001.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand, Dr. Kiesler is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Society for Sugery of the Hand, and the Chicago Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Kiesler's special interests include upper extremity sports-related injuries, trauma reconstruction, arthritic conditions, and peripheral nerve disorders. He maintains medical staff privileges at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield and Edward Hospital in Naperville.
