Aaron A. Bare, M.D.graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology and received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical
School.
At Northwestern, he was a 4-year letterman and captain of the men's swim team. He completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Northwestern and completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI) in Los Angeles. During his SCOI fellowship, Dr. Bare treated a wide variety of amateur and professional athletes.
Dr. Bare is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in comprehensive care of the shoulder and knee. His areas of surgical expertise include shoulder and knee joint replacement, arthroscopy/advanced arthroscopy, shoulder reconstruction, and hip arthroscopy.
Joining OAD in 2006, Dr. Bare is Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member and on the teaching faculty of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, in addition to being a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the
American
Academy
of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
